Nuntaria Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 10, 2025

This document explains how we collect, use, and protect our users' personal information. We are committed to applying responsible practices that ensure data security and compliance with applicable data protection regulations.

1. Information Collected

Nuntaria collects only the minimum information necessary to provide its automated monitoring services for public data. We do not request sensitive personal data nor perform profiling for advertising purposes. The data collected includes:

Email address: Required at registration to manage the user account, enable access to the service, and allow sending emails related to requested monitoring, subscription billing, and other relevant communications about service status.

Usage data: Includes information about platform interaction (e.g., access frequency, monitoring start and cancellation dates). This information is used in aggregate and anonymous form to improve the service.

Payment data: Nuntaria does not collect or store banking information or data associated with credit or debit cards. All payments are processed through a specialized and secure external platform.

2. Information Collection Methods

Information is collected exclusively through web forms within the platform, during the registration process or account administration. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes, nor cross-site tracking technologies.

3. Legal Basis for Data Processing

Data processing is based on:

  • Acceptance of this privacy policy, which is understood as granted when the user accesses the platform through an account.
  • The contractual relationship derived from the subscription, which involves processing minimal data for service provision and to comply with legal obligations associated with using Stripe as the payment platform.

4. How We Use Information

The collected information is used exclusively to:

  • Enable access to the personalized monitoring service.
  • Send email notifications with relevant updates about tenders or other public data from the Colombian State.
  • Manage the user account, including payment and subscription management.
  • Perform aggregate and anonymous analysis of service usage, with the objective of improving its functionality.

The platform does not process or access financial information, as all payment management is handled by a specialized external provider.

Nuntaria does not use user information for advertising purposes, does not share data with third parties for commercial purposes, nor performs profile-based segmentation.

5. Third-Party Services

To operate securely, reliably, and efficiently, Nuntaria uses third-party services that comply with high international data protection standards:

Google Cloud Platform (GCP): We use GCP as the main infrastructure to manage our databases and authentication services. Data is stored on servers located in the United States, protected by encryption in transit and at rest. GCP has certifications such as ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2, and others recognized globally. Google Privacy Policy

Resend: We use Resend to send email notifications to our users, including monitoring alerts and service communications. Resend implements security measures to protect data and comply with applicable international regulations. Resend Privacy Policy

Stripe: We use Stripe to process payments related to monthly or annual subscriptions. All information associated with the payment method is managed directly by Stripe, according to the highest international security standards, including compliance with the PCI-DSS standard. Nuntaria does not store or have access to users' banking or card data. Stripe Privacy Policy

These providers access only the information necessary to perform the functions assigned to them, and are not authorized to use it for purposes other than those established in this policy.

6. International Data Transfers

Due to Google Cloud Platform, Resend, and Stripe services operating with infrastructure located in the United States, some user data may be stored or processed outside of Colombia. In these cases:

  • Appropriate technical and organizational measures (such as encryption and access controls) are applied to ensure data security.
  • Obligations established by Colombian legislation regarding international data transfers are met.
  • In no case are sensitive personal data transferred, nor is unauthorized use of information by third parties performed.

Financial data is not transferred or stored by Nuntaria, as this information is managed directly by the payment platform.

7. Information Security

At Nuntaria, we implement technical and organizational measures to protect our users' information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or improper disclosure. These measures include:

  • Data encryption in transit and at rest through Google Cloud Platform services.
  • Secure authentication and authorization for platform access.
  • Continuous system monitoring to prevent vulnerabilities.

Nuntaria does not store financial information, so users' banking data is not part of the platform's security system.

Although we apply robust security standards, no system is completely infallible. If we detect a data breach that affects user privacy, we will activate our response protocol and notify affected parties and competent authorities in a timely manner, as required by applicable legislation.

8. Data Retention

We retain user information while their account remains active. If a user wishes to delete their account, they must request it at contacto@nuntaria.com from the address registered on the platform.

Once the request is verified, all personal data linked to that account will be permanently and securely deleted from our systems.

Deletion is performed immediately, unless there are legal obligations requiring retention for an additional period (for example, for accounting or tax purposes within the framework of the service provided).

Nuntaria does not retain banking or card data, as they are not part of the information collected or processed by the platform.

9. User Rights

Nuntaria recognizes and guarantees user rights in relation to the processing of their personal data. Users can exercise the following rights:

  • Access: Check what data has been collected and how it is being processed.
  • Rectification: Correct or update information registered in their account.
  • Deletion: Request definitive deletion of their account and all associated data.
  • Consent revocation: Withdraw consent at any time. This implies account deletion and service suspension.

To exercise any of these rights, users can write to us at contacto@nuntaria.com from the address registered in their account, clearly indicating their request.

10. Browser Permissions Usage

Nuntaria does not request any type of browser or device permissions. We do not access microphone, camera, location data, or any other sensitive resources.

11. Local Data Storage

The platform does not perform local storage of personal data. Only temporary browser memory (sessionStorage) is used to maintain active user sessions and avoid unnecessary data reloads while browsing.

This information is automatically deleted when closing the tab or browser, and does not contain personal data nor is shared with third parties.

12. Data Breach Policy

In case of detecting a security breach that compromises users' personal information:

  • We will notify affected users within 72 hours of incident detection.
  • We will inform the competent authority in Colombia, if current regulations require it.
  • We will apply immediate measures to contain and mitigate the effects of the breach.

It should be noted that payment data is not compromised, as it is not stored or processed by Nuntaria.

Our goal is to act with transparency and responsibility in the face of any security incident.

13. Privacy Policy Changes

Nuntaria may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in legislation, our services, or the technology providers used.

Users will be notified of any substantial changes through the website and, when appropriate, by email.

The date of the last update will be shown at the beginning of this document.

We recommend reviewing this policy periodically to stay informed of any modifications.

14. Data Deletion and Procedures

Users wishing to delete their account must request it at contacto@nuntaria.com from the address registered on the platform. Once the request is verified:

  • All personal data linked to the account will be permanently and securely deleted.
  • If the account has an active subscription, it will be automatically cancelled at the end of the paid period.
  • The user will receive a confirmation email once the deletion process of all their information is completed.

Nuntaria does not store financial information, so there is no banking data associated with the account that needs to be deleted.

15. Advertising and Commercial Use of Data

Nuntaria does not use users' personal data for advertising or marketing purposes. We do not perform commercial segmentation, do not sell data to third parties, nor employ profiling techniques for economic purposes.

The only use of data is what is strictly necessary to provide the contracted monitoring service.

16. Information for Minors

Nuntaria is directed at companies, professionals, and adult citizens interested in monitoring public information from the Colombian State. It is not designed for minors under 18 years of age. We do not deliberately collect information from minors.

17. Automated Processing and Decision Making

Nuntaria uses automated tools to query and filter public information (such as tenders or judicial processes), with the objective of delivering relevant alerts to the user. However:

  • No automated decisions are made that affect user rights.
  • No personalized profiles are generated to modify service offerings nor are algorithms applied with legal or significant effects on the person.
  • All automation is focused exclusively on service efficiency and public data classification.
